I started digging around , repairing things under the sink, etc, plumbing and generally all over the place, and I smell like a cheese type smell, I guess its mold, really bothers me,
any suggestions , of course I plan to clean, but just wondering if anybody else came accross this smell, it lingers, and gets in my skin,
kinda nasty
stinky cheese like smell

stinky cheese like smell
1983 10 meter express
smells
Bill remember that boat laid for a number of years the owner really didnt do a lot of cleaning . If i ownde it i would strip everything out right down to the hull sides take it all home and clean everything with soap and cloros be sure to clean the bottoms of everthing then get into the boat and scrub it down with clorox and simle green and dawn detergent using hot water turn every board over and clean the bottoms flush it all into the bilge. then get down to the bilge and scrub it down till all the gunk is gone. big job job but well worth it for the following years .

Oh, you must have bought the boat from the "Stinky Cheese Man." He's a good guy...had some bad years but he turned his life around. He wrote a very popular book and now does appearances at schools to read the book to kids:guglielmo6160 wrote:thanks,, thats what I will do, its kinda a wacky smell, really smells like Ive been handling cheese, its so weird
