What are some things to look for, or have to be aware of in thinking about the purchase of a 1984 F 36 model ?? thanks Jay

if you are that interested get a survey to protect yourself and you will also have a idea of the boats condtion. what to look for is kind of a hard thing to answer theres numerous things. stringers,soft spots,engines. i had all the same worries when looking lots of great folks on this forum

:lol: Hello, I do not know were the 36 is at but Joyce Nolen SAMS AMS is located down state in delaware. She travels all over the place for Surveys. She found the rotten stringers in my F32 in 2006. Sweet boat dude!

But remember, whether a Hatteras or Bayliner, you can look forward to at least 50% of the purchase price in additional work to get the boat (right). That's just the way the world works. If it's the former boat of a dummy, like mine was, then that figure increases dramatically.
