Adding swim platform
I am looking to add a swim platform to my 1989 10.8 international. Does anyone know where I might be able to find a used one or maybe have one made?
Not sure about where to locate a used one, but as for having one made you can check out the following link http://www.butlermarine.com/ I purchased a new fiberglass platform from them about 10yrs ago, and it is extremely well built. They also make teak platforms as well. You might want to check with them to see if they have a template for the transom of the 10.8 They had one for the F-26 and it fit perfectly
Swim platform
Thank you! I will take a look.

I had one made for my F-30 at a local exotic lumber place here in the Baltimore area. 1 1/2" thick Teak, 8 feet long, 2 feet wide. Cost 480.00.
We cut the transom side ourselves and drilled 1 " holes in it to releive pressure from water hitting it from below.

Freestate Timbers in Timonium. They had a rough cut teak board and they planed it and glued three 8 inch pieces together. I do not have a photo on my work computer. I'll see about posting a photo from home.
