Winterizing a 78 F-25 with a Chrysler 318 Please help.

Post by skuzzlebutt »

Hi there.

I'm looking for a how to on winterizing my boat. This is the first year i'll be winterizing a boat this size. I used to winterize my 20fter easily but that had a closed cooling system on it so it was a little different.

Mainly looking for help on the engine/exhaust because the holding tank was winterized before we bought it and we havent used it. and for whatever reason ours is missing the waste tank.

Thanks

Here is a response I got to the same question.

I have also found it helpful to pick up a service manual.

I hope it goes well.

Don't forget to winterize the domestic water lines as well...

BTW we got our F25 this summer, and have been loving it.

I just winterized it this morning, cant wait for next season to roll around.
