Dog House

Post by larglo »

Hi all,

Yesterday, my wife (of 47 yrs) and I had a disagreement, about hearing aids. After a while I told her I was going to the boat. As I turned to go into the marina, I thought, wow, it was great, Ms Glory can be used as my dog house. After parking I walked to Ms Glory and enjoyed myself all afternoon.

Disagreements don't seem so bad now!

I've got the opposite problem, I get in the dog house by spending too much time on the boat.....lol

I told my wife before we bought the boat last July to expect me to spending a lot of time at the marina and on the boat. I said I would love to have you with me,
but if you choose not to go, I am!

I really put my foot down. when I got out of the hospital a week later, I said honey,,,,can I go to the marina! At least she says yes every time I ask!

chas1450,

No not really, I was only jokingly suggesting my wife beat me up by being a smart a _ _!

When I was younger, I always walked fast, making it difficult for my wife to keep up with me. And when I was a lot younger, I worked out with weights and was a lot stronger than her.

But at my age now, she walks faster than I,,,,and I think she is stronger than I am too?
Funny how things are reversed in life! :D
