Boats are so cheap right now...thought it may be a good time to move-up. I may have a deal on a 14 meter with the big D. Diesels. Anyway, I put mine for sale. Thought the pics may give you some ideas:

My boat salesman is not the sharpest knife in the drawer. There's about 5 more mistakes too. For example, the v-berth "sleeps one" and it has "two staterooms".

I'll get those fixed this week...what a dummy.

It makes me sick to sell anything I worked so hard on. But my wife saw one of them 14 meter Trojans for sale in Miami with the big 750 hp diesels. She loved that boat and how wide and solid it felt. Here's the kicker, a neighbor just sold their house and lost their dock (went to a retirement home but only in their late 50s). So, they said get a nice boat and they'll go halfers with it at our dock.

Well, we only use the boat a couple times a month, so we thought we might try splitting this one. They're meticulous like me so it should be alright.

The thing that worries me is the 14 meter was the only cored hull Trojan made. I don't like that stuff soaking down there. I know Pasco (YachtSurvey.com) says it's alright but ya never know. There's a lotta boats out there for sale right now...some quite cheap. So, I'm sure we'll have plenty of time to look around before ours sells.

You have any favorites?

I have a lot of favorites (qnd own 5 boats already) -

If money were no object - I'd own a Buddy Davis is a split second, but I like to fish.

Other than that - Hats are nice ... Bertrams are great rough water boats - if I had my choice for an ocean cruising vessel - I'd buy a Nordhaven ... but who has that cash?

Trawlers are great live-aboards as well - plan to buy a 45 Grand Banlks in a few years to do the great circle - and seel it when we're done.
