rebuilding radar arches
My radar arch was messed up during transport last year, and it is dry rotted. Any suggestions for building a new one or a place where I can get the parts.
Beacon Marine may have a source for replacement parts so I would check there first. If not, any fiberglass repair shop should be able to fix it for you. Most I have dealt with do wood as well fiberglass rework. Some ebay stores also have items that are salvaged from all sorts of boats so you may want to check there.
You may want to consider a new aluminum or stainless tubing arch. They are reasonably priced, relatively light weight, and no corrosion or dry rot problems. I know they are not "original" equipment, but they are very functional and a good option.
