Jabsco Par Max 3 question

Post by jwhalen »

I have an older version Par Max 3 pump for fresh water. Model 30600. On one side there is what appears to be a switch where the power comes in to the pump. One of the male connections broke off. I want to just replace that piece and believe it is called a Micro Switch. Just looking for some confirmation.

Thanks,

John

Not sure about that particular model but most had exactly that; a micro switch activated by a diaphram. Typically, the module can be opened up and the switch replaced (just a regular micro switch available at an electronics parts store). Or you can replace the whole module, I'm sure they're still available. Try this link for the diagram, it may not be the same as yours but the basic components should apply.
