how do the toilets work?

been so busy with engines and such I have not figured out the heads out, they appear original and when I ordered the manual off beacon I thought it would have instructions. Is there a pump? it says it is electric and has a corrigated plastic tube about 1 1/4 going into the walland a water pipe. I put about 5 gallans of water in the boat freshwater tank and turned the valve and nothing. is there a pump somewhere? seacock? Is there a book somewhere? I also have another head, shower and kitchen sink but have no boat or rv experiece.

i do not know what was orignal .
but an electric toilet has a water supply most likely from a seacock 3/4"line for example to a pump (might be a combination such as on a crown head) and a waste discharge pump (macerator) that evacuates the toilet and empties through a 1 1/2 line for example into a holding tank or and seacock to discharge overboard. some toilets use a solenoid and a backflow preventor and supply fresh water from the boats freshwater supply rather than pulling it from outside the boat. is the boat in the water or on the hard? if you push the flush button are you hearing anything? the macerator pump is usually in the base but could be elsewhere
do you have a pic or manufacturer of the toilet. it would be easier to tell more about it. does it look anything like this?

to help the make and model of the head or photos of the heads would be a big help . I believe they came with a few different heads and there is a very good chance they have been replaced any way , If not it maybe time . Could be elc. or could be Manual . could use raw water or use fresh water . No easy answer sorry

If your head is electric it's got to have electrical leads going to the dc panel/buss bar, which is powered by your battery(s). The water supply for toilets is usually from the same water your boat is floating in and it should lead from inside the hull thru a seacock to your toilet intake. So, (1) make sure you have power to the electric switch on the toilet and (2) make sure you have water supply to the toilet (which means if you have a seacock, make sure it is open). Your sinks and showers should be supplied from your fresh water tank. That takes care of the "in" part of your toilet and sinks. The "out" part is usually accomplished by a holding tank for the toilet and either a holding tank or direct outlet for the sinks and shower, depending on your regulations. On your 36 the freshwater tank should be larger that 5 gallons - 30-40 or more I'm guessing, and holding tank for toilet is usually a minimum of 20 gallons.

Never seen one like that , But I can tell you for sure it uses fresh water to flush , I can tell by the valve in the first photo so your fresh water system needs to be turned on and working . It looks like the holding tank may be built in but thats only a guess .wish I could be more help

Looks like a recirculating unit. I agree that it is supplied by a water tank, not seacock/raw water. So, it must have either a holding tank that you manually empty, or empty via a pumpout. Does your boat have a plate marked "sewage" of something similar on the topside? Finally, just ask someone at your dock or marina for some assistance, but I'm still sure someone on this forum knows what's going on. You could send these to the guys at Beacon Marine for more information, also.

g36 is correct, I have this same head in my F25 HT. Although I had to wire around the timer (it was bad, and to costly to replace, for me) and push the flush button down as long as it takes to flush, just a few seconds, it works fine. I do add a chemical to it, which you can get at West Marine and many other places too.
After each time it's emptied, I add 4 gal. of water and the required chemical and it's good for, depending how many times it's used.

And you can get a few parts for this head. I don't have the web site on hand, but try a google search and if I can find it, I'll let you know.

This is the site I was telling about, but only have one part I can see for now. They use to have the motor and timer, so you may ask them for what you need, and they can find it? Be sure a scroll all the way down.

When I got my F36 it had a recirculating head that worked . It was a different brand ( the OEM may have been the same as yours ). I removed it and replaced it with a Raritan head and added a holding tank . The first and one of the best things I did to the boat .
recirculating head UGH!!!
