I'm not from too far from the boat if I am heading that way soon I'll stop in and report on it.

Looks to me like it has been built up for 'function' (radar, riggers, etc) but I am getting the sense the interior has been gutted and ripped apart.

UPDATE.....

From the broker that sold the boat 1 1/2 years ago and currently listing it.

This boat was sold about a year and a half ago. The new owner put a rebuilt engine in and the other one was rebuilt a year before that (PO). The new owner hauled the boat, added the electronics, complete awgrip paint job, and added other new items. As soon as he was finished put the boat up for sale asking 27K, then 22K, then 18K. Lost the boat to the yard bills and now the yard owns it.

The reported damage is 3 rodholders are gone, the 30 amp shore cord is gone, and the starboard side muffer was damaged by someone trying to remove it. The yard wants it GONE and will take 4.4K.

It is located at Breezy point boat yard.

Question, do you need to take the bridge off for over the road transport?

I use to do oversize moves but it was heavy equipment, but from talking to other drivers that did boats they had to have them removed for height clearance. what's the overall height? 13'6" is the legal height. When they draw the oversize permit they can get it for 14' height with little to no extra cost.

Man what a gorgeous example of a very nice design. Growing up, friends of the family had this same boat (year?) and it was a super layout and very fast. Someone will get a real bargain.

i have the same boat and yes, the fly bridge would have to come off before moving it. they are trailer able (depending on your state laws) but its not something you'd want to do everyday!
