Transporting an F32

Post by jordan »

Does anybody have any recommendations on a boat transport company that could move a F32 from Chicago to Lake Superior near Duluth, Mn? I talked to one company out of the Detroit area, but they didn't seem very friendly. I'm trying to get the move lined up for spring. The boat comes out of storage early april.
Thanks and happy new year to all, Jim

Jordan-you may want to try looking at or posting on BoaterEd or BoatUS websites for transport companys. Not to be an ad for BoatUS here-but you may also be able to get a discount as a member.
I suspect that the the time of the year when you want the boat moved, and the flexibility, if you have any, of your schedule may give you a little negotiating power.

Hey Rossjo,
I tried USHIP and already have received bids that are looking really good. Thanks for that web site and I will keep everyone posted on how the move goes.
