Anyone know

Post by fourreins »

On my 10.8 my holding tank is under the foward birth. The hose that enters the top of the tank goes through a round panel that looks like it either spins on or is in place with some adhesive. Anyone know if this should just pop out or does is thread into the top of the tank?

Same here. A simple inspection plate cover. Just unscrews. Am wondering if the hose you describe is a vent hose ...might very well be.

here is what it looks like on my 77 F32,

PVC is the pump out line, the 1" white sanitation line is from the head, the cord reinforced is the vent line.

That looks like someone moved the inlet fitting and used that "plastic weld" stuff. I've never seen home type pvc plumbing for discharge, sure hope one of those fittings don't vibrate loose

We've had this discussion a while back with his set-up, so far it seems to be working for him. :) If it works, it works!

heard that comment a few times, would be a mess for sure. the blank fitting is actually threaded and the one that the inlet hose is attached is a reducer to 1" there is some sort of sealant (from install?) on both fittings.
