Anybody looking for a fixer-upper?

Post by rbcool »

I looked at a 32, i think '74, last weekend for a friend who has never owned a boat. She is moored in VA waters in Pokomoke sound. My bud was intrigued by the $3,500 sign on her.
Couldn't get engines started, 90% of cockpit floor is rotted, Saloon is ok- needs major cleaning, genny is missing, gas tanks fouled- he put an 18 gal. temp tank on her to get her to this spot.
The old fart swears both engines ran last Nov.
I would bet if you showed up with 2k cash he would jump on it. Has title in hand.
PM me if interested, I think I can get his number. I hate to see this old girl just sitting there

I guestimated 8-10k, DIY, no new genny. Definately winter project.
