Lunaire TSC-16H Schematic
Does anyone have a schematic on an old Lunaire air conditioner model TSC-16H? I have a Trojan 10 Meter and having issues with mine tripping the GFI circuit at my slip as soon as I turn it on. The heat index today is 110 degrees!
Any help or guidance would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks, Mike

Unforunatly, a lot of folks with these units have had issues. You may have to replace. But maybe RWS can. Good luck.

I have a 1986 10 Meter mid cabin with a lunair system in the front cabin, mine has a wiring diagram on the A/C assembly. Are you tripping a 30 amp breaker for your power cord or do you have a 20 amp GFI outlet. If it is a 20 amp GFI outlet I would try a different one, if it is a 30 amp circuit breaker that sounds like a short somewere on the A/C unit or a bad compressor in the unit.

I did not know any one was still using 20 amp shore power most marinas are 30 or 50 amp as thats how most boats are set up , and most have no ground fault are you sure your a/c is just not overloading it on start up ? a bad start capacitor could do that.

Mike, My A/C unit is mounted in a enclosed compartment there is some disassembly required to get to it. I am going to rock hall this weekend so I will not have time this week but maybe next. I was also looking for my original trojan manual to see if there is a wiring diagram in there.

Mike, were you able to get a copy of the schematic off of yours?
I replaced a faulty relay on my AC unit also and it turns on now without tripping the circuit, but the compressor will not turn on. I had to cut the wires on the temp sensor when I pulled it out but spliced them back together. Will a faulty sensor make the compressor not turn on? Can the sensor be bypassed? I want to jumper power directly to the compressor motor itself but not sure which color wires to go to on the terminal block. There are quite a few wires that go into the compressor at the bottom.
Thanks again to everyones replies. Mike
