So during the water test make sure you use that experience to check how she handles at slow and fast speeds and handles waves etc: Try and get a following sea also.... then if you are happy with how it felt at the helm go forward.

Wish we could offer you more, however most of the expertise here is on the Lancaster PA production vessels.

Yours was produced in Pulaski, WI, after the buyout and is a Carver production Trojan.

Generally these were well made, top of the line models.

The Trojan 350 was created by Carver and not Trojan Yachts. Trojan Yachts were only made until 1992, at which point they sold all of their assets to Carver. The Trojan name was used for a couple of line of boats, but they were not the Pennsylvania made boats. You might be better off looking at a Carver forum for more info.

Being carver built is not a negtive at all other than maybe not as much support from John or Bob ( I sure they will do what they can ) And of course we will help as muh as we can

I think you will find the Trojan bunch friendlier then the Caver crowd or at least a little crazier :D

I like many of the Carvers. You have to understand that you are asking a bunch of people that are Trojan fanatics and since the only Trojans left are the ones we have, the opinions will be somewhat scewed. The original Trojans were handbuilt in Amish country. Carvers is a completely different operation. Carver also didn't go out of business and makes a lot of boats. I can say without a doubt that there is not a better support group or information forum than here. Good luck and hope if you purchase this boat that you join this forum.

you'll find that this site is great for over all knowledge and repair skill and over all boating fun..And Carver makes a grrrreat boat..But owners of New beach bottle types that are being made are a bit snobbish and alot of them couldn't tell you where the raw water pumps are if you get my meaning..Hope all works out with you and you stick around. :)

A same model boat is docked directly across from me at my marina and the owner loves it. He speaks very highly of the ride and craftsmanship in it's construction. I was aboard once and it looked great.

Hope you hang around here as you won't find a greater group for support and general information. We may be crazy but crazy but we mean well!
