Hello All! New '73 Trojan F 25 Express Cruiser Owner.
Well its new to me. This is my first 'large' vessel. Always played with small power/fishing boats but wanted something i could take a trip on. Lots of great info here.

Well I most certainly will post more pics. I will be picking her up in 3 days. She is currently getting her survey and she has been on land for almost 2 yrs. She has to be prep'd for water entry(stored winterized). She does need some work cosmetically in the cabin and cockpit. The wood has a thin film of mould likely due to storage and being tarped over. She has MerCruiser engine that was rebuilt just under a year before she returned to land. I am hoping to modernize her upholstery (at least to get her into this millenium)
My avatar is a picture of her 3 months b4 she was placed in storage. I will get a photobucket account to post new pics. I will keep a photo-journal of her progress.
Thanks for the warm welcome
P.S. I posted this topic as her being a 74 but she is a 73 infact and dont know how to correct the topic...lol

Well heres a surprise, I went down to the marina where my new 'toy' is and got the HIN its 251-3257, so it turns out my F26 is a F25 and...all the required safety equipment is outdated or us coast guard certified but NOT canadian coast guard certified. Doesnt look like she is going to get wet this season. I think in the best interest of being thorough, I will put her in my driveway and start the clean-up/restoration. In this way, I can be assured of a fully outfitted, 'ready to rock' vessel by spring. I got a few more pictures of here current state. I am going to attempt to post here now.

I tripped over previous owners junk and fell on my ass. As i was falling i got this picture(why its on an angle...lol)

Obviously I have some work ahead of me but i cant describe the excitement i am feeling in anticipation of the restoration/upgrading process.

they put it in the average-good condition. gave it an 'as is' appraisal at $4,995.
It cost me $1,000 CDN. The surveyor said after i finished the clean-up and updating i could see up to $15k if i chose to resell it. There is less than 160 hours on the engine.
Overall i think it will be an incredibly fun journey and then perfect to splash her in the spring.
I have the time on my hands now to devote 6-8 hrs everyday if need be to her.
