Looking at your photos i am concerned at how you have the boat supported on your boat stand.... it seems to me it looks much like the way you would support a runabout on a bunk trailer. There is less strength/rigidity in the hull where you have it supported in the fore/aft direction.

These hulls should be supported differently than a runabout.... the main weight bearing should be on the center keel just aft of the bow curve and at the transom end. Supports to prevent twist from this centreline supporting position should be on the outer aft edges at the transom and aft of midships on the outer chine.
More like how this boat is supported:

Bkwesq,

Are you married? Does your wife go online/know about your blog? Do you really want her to have a running total of how much you've spent?

Haha, my wife bought me the boat guys she is 100% on board! Too funny. The boat is NOT blocked as shown in the picture that is how the before picture at the sellers location. I have 5 boat stands and 4 blocked areas. I have two little kids so I really did overkill in blocking the boat up.

Just asking. My wife about blew a gasket when I had to plunk down $500 LARGE for a new steering cylinder. I never told her the real cost of my "cheap" dinghy that I refurbished-just the $75 purchase price!!!!
