f32 salon side windows sizing

for my 78 f32 i have an oppurtunity to replace my cracked salon windows with ones from a salvaged f32 . i know the age is close to mine since the bilge intake and exhaust vents are below the rubrail like mine are. i am however unable to measure my glass at the present time i will be leaving today on my trip. i would like to know ( this is a shot in the dark)if the glass sizing was pretty standard and by removing the glass from the salvaged boat being able to install it in mine without modifications. any thoughts? i will remove and install myself.
i have not priced any replacemnt glass for my boat so i am not sure what the cost may be to have glass cut so if any one has a ball park on that i would appreciate it. i have not been quoted on the salvaged boats glass either. just wondering if this is worth it or just have new made locally and forget the salvaged

Which glass are you trying to source? One of the ones with the big angle cut on the forward end? I am relatively sure they are uniform up until at least the color change. Probably beyond. Things didn't get real hinkey until the late 80's over there as far as uniformity in production. If in doubt at all just get something cut and finished with your existing hardware. It can't be that much to get the right piece made.

I have to do the upper (large) portion of the center glass in the windshield. Its starting to delam in the lower left corner, which is often right in my line of sight. My biggest concern on that job is being able to properly match the tint. I may end up having to buy 3 pieces of glass if I don't like the match after I do the first one.

Just ask a local glass shop to come out and quote you. The side glass is not difficult to remove.

i agree the local shop can cut the glass very easily i would take it out at take it to them. however if the price is right glass from the salvaged boat could be a pretty good deal depending on 1 its condtion and 2 the price i have to pay. will cost me nothing to remove and bring home. however i dont know the exact measurements so my main concern is if the sizing is standard. i am only looking at the side windows . fixed and moveable. i would probably buy all off the salvaged boat and keep the ones i dont need for later if ever needed.
