Marlin on C/L NJ

Post by Commissionpoint »

Cool 25 Marlin. Seller says needs engine work. I read as needs engine. Not too many of these around. Two grand might be worth it if its not a total pieceacrap. Anyone got a spare 318 hanging about? Could be a fun winter project. I'm tempted to give him a call. Its about 5 hours away from me.

Looks like he went under a very low lying bridge. :)

LOL. Its not like your 25 with the superstructure on it. Its your hull in a Boston Whaler/Grady White type of center console setup. I have no idea what the production numbers on these center console type models were, but I know that compared to other Trojan models that they are somewhat rare. I've always wanted one, just haven't found one I liked enough to buy yet.

Pretty cool.

I fished in a 25 Albemarle Center Console off NC with a 502 in the center with a jackshaft. Great riding 25! Fast, economical and the weight forward made her ride great! Plus we could gaff Kings easily off the back.

Yeh Ross, those Albemarles are real nice boats. I was looking at them when I bought the Sea Swirl in '04, but ended up with the Swirl. No regrets there, it turned out to be a great boat.

You took the words right out of my mouth. Wouldn't that thing be fun/cool with an 8.1 in it....... 8)
