Velvet Drive Rebuild

Post by bkwesq »

Well I nearly broke my back, hands and feet but I got the tranny off the old 318. It looks good I guess who really knows. I want to open it open and take a peek but the one end that attaches to the shaft is held in by a huge nut and the other end that goes in to the bell housing I took all the bolts out and nothing came off. I got new gaskets but I have no idea where they go. Any pointers? I didn't want to pry anything tell I heard from you all- thanks as always.

I overhauled one for a friend the summer before last. Just take your time and comprehend the manual and drawings. You'll be fine.
