Need some help here

Post by Heefus »

It turns out that the trailer, that I had lined up to haul out the F28, is too narrow.

I am looking for info on anyone that does hauling and blocking in my area (King George, VA). I have dry storage, at my marina, so it will only need to be pulled an blocked.

Any leads?

Yup. I just need to be hauled and blocked. My marina is a very small Mom and Pop operation. No hauling, no fuel, etc. They are close to the house, and cheap. Sometimes you get what you pay for

I can haul and store at the next marina downriver, but I would have to pay storage there, while I am already paid thru April at my marina.

You might try this guy:

Bo Smith Cell: 601-201-9135

He runs out of Miss. but goes all over. Hauled my f28 down from Cleveland. He might have a dead head run and small ones help with expenses. He uses a duelly f350 and a hydraulic trailer, which is nice as he can set it down and block ealily where you want.

Thanks guys, I will call around tomorrow. Also had Holly Acres, in Woodbridge, recommended.

Wow

Bubbie gave the best price, at $450, while the others were in the $800 range, and I would have to take her down to the other marina for haulout.

I believe I will just putt down to Fairview beach and have her hauled and blocked there. Haul out, put in, and 6 months storage only comes to $650 there, and it is 5 minutes closer to my house.
