Sabbath Day Point is about 25 minutes in the car, maybe a little less if you put the hammer down going over Tongue Mountain. Its a nice spot, I have a friend with a house there.
Where are you at? What stories have you heard about Sabbath Day Point? Revolutionary War stuff? Scalpings and mutilations? Natives cooking white folks on a spit? Its mostly true if thats what you have heard.

Cool TrojanmanXS, I used to get up your way from time to time to gamble a little on the reservation. No, I have never heard anything that I thought was 'Bigfootish'. Lots of bobcats and coyotes though. They can both make quite a racket. Coyotes are easy to distinguish, but bobcats can souns like a baby wailing or a woman being murdered. I am out hiking all the time though, if I hear or see anything in that area I'll let you know.
I reads those links you posted and the first one sounds like a local scaring folks off a marijuana plantation. (yes we have a lot of that around here) The others sound like folks who don't know much about wildlife and don't have any explanation for what they have heard so they call it Bigfoot. Thats my 2 cents on that anyhow......

lol dont forget the camera!!! yeah Ive been to the casino once since it opened , I lost 120 and havent been back since
. we actually spent our honeymoon down in your town. the wife and I rented at the time these miniture offshore style racing boats for a couple of hours and cruised the lake, then we met a fella named "Nik" who owned a rest there and gotto talking to him he then invited us to go see his boat . I cant remember what it was but it was a H U G E offshore picklefork racing boat. guess he traveled and raced this thing around the east coast. we almost bought one of those little boats of Nik and brought it home but the wife said it wasnt on her list so we settled on a nice dinner and enjoyed the village

Nik Cutro. Boardwalk restaurant. He is quite the offshore racer.
I live north of the village about 15 minutes. I do run a business there though.

My son has one more year and then its OUR TIME!!! think it would be nice to come down and take advantage of having an inside guy in your town. hows the hunting ? lmao not like the wife will do the hunting trip but we can discuss that when shes napping at the camp site

Hunting and fishing are great. Deer and Salmon are the things which have the most action. Check back the website in March for 2012. August 29th was the day Irene stopped by and that what pushed me back in the Trojan market. We had a pretty big loss that day, about 100 grand. 75 in boats alone. So after that we stpooed for the season and focused on rebuilding. Thank god for insurance.
I'd be glad to put together a custom package for a fellow TrojanBoats.net member. Shoot me an e-mail at the bookings address and we can talk about what you want to do and how many days you want to go for. You can do pretty much anything outdoors related here. Weekends fill fast, but right now only the major holidays would be a real problem. Weekdays are a lot more flexable unless its August.
