Its good for boating, its good for hiking, and its great for days when you take the boat to go hike trailless peaks near the water. (I suppose thats not for everyone, but it certainly works for me.)

I'm getting anxious to get started on the work that needs to be done on the bottom so I can get back in the water in April. Daylight time helps that tremendously.

even though i was under the 'watchful eye' of crew scheduling today, i could not resist the 62 degree day, so, after i took care of maccabee, i went to the boat and just enjoyed a 'warm spring' afternoon. tomorrow it's going to be in the mid 70's. how i wish our marina did not 'winterize' the water supply as i would love to give the boat a bath. she's looking a little schmutzy these days, and while it is a chore, i do find shining her up a form a therapy. hell, even the birds were out chirping, enjoying themselves too..... and yes, both maccabee and i prefer this type of 'winter'.

Hooray, however longer days give me more time to work on boats and I already run out of gas before dark, getting old is not for sissies.
