International - helm switch labeling

Post by BobCT »

I just dropped off my old helm switch label "strips" panels at a sign place. They're remaking them so the lettering is clear with a black background. I think that'll make the backlighting a lot better.

I think I'll swap out the bulbs for LEDS while it's apart. If it looks good, I'll post the name of the place since it'll be just another run for them and easy to mail. The only change I made was changing the two "Accessory" labels to show what they actually control (Cabin Ex Fan and AIS in my case). Easy enough to change though.

I'm also having them made slightly larger so there's a little more surface area to attach under the helm. We'll see how it turns out....

that dash is a really nice item and the night illumination feature is excellent.

I had to epoxy some of the fasteners to the rear of mine when i did the refit.
