165 update

Post by gettaway »

I came down to the boat today to wash her off and clean the bottom, i also brought 10 gallons of fuel to top her off after a two hour or so run last week with some work associates. Took some corporate guys to dinner via boat and from dock to dock was just at 2.5 hours underway running at the sweet spot of 10 -11 knots

Today i put 8 gallons of fuel in the boat. Its looking like I'm getting a consistant 3. -4 gallon fuel burn at my ideal speed.

Cheers

Will do, cleaning boat right now for opening day next weekend. Was waxing the forward cabin trunk, walked aft to get some rags and slipped off the boat at the cockpit, hit my hip on the dockstep , waiting for an unhappy wife to take me e room, will be surprised if its not broken

Alls good, one nasty bruise and it's going to hurt like heck for a while but no breaks.

Good for you. Broken hips can be very painful. Glad you're OK.

Very glad you're gonna be OK!

If you are gonna do a non-skid project, I can explain the system I used. When completed, it looks absolutely 'factory', instead of just throwing sand in paint, which is also really rough on the knees. as well as being hard to clean

Sorry Scott for your accident - hope you are going to feel better :D

@ David: again - your work at this deck is still awsome, better than new !!!
Also your hatches are very smoothy - did you use new fiberglass ??
And what about that metal hose by the hatch above the dinette ?
What does it is for ?

Excuse Scott, all that David pictures should placed again in my 'Hatch-thread'.
