I removed the side mounted seats on the F25 because they will ripping the side off the boat. I want to replace them with pedastal seating but i can't find any high enough, the seat stand from the old seat is 34 inches high then the seat bottom so I need something 36in tall. Any suggestions?
Thanks guys!
I promise to update my website the "knot guility" is 90% complete and I just orded the transport
I always thought it would be cool to have pedestal seats that will allow for two different configurations. The seats would have sliding brackets to attach the seat to the pedestal and allow the seats to move back and forth. There would be a long pedestal for driving and short one that could be inserted so you could turn the helm seat around and use it as a deck chair. I think this would really help make the cockpit feel bigger and more user friendly. The problem is trying to get the best of both worlds (driving and lounging) and still be functional. A result of one of my many day dreaming moments...

LOL I cant even reach my helm right now!!!. Im gonna build my boxes with White oak covered with glass. We need wash down, and I dont want any chance of issues. It will be bolted but removable upper hatch to have access to head pumps and other components from above! Wicked design we came up with. Well we think its neat! Ken is right tho...

I found these chairs but it makes the box a little bigger. Think they were 6 direction pedistals in total, bottom bracket, adjustable pole. then locking swivel seat. Cant remember!!!. The brackets are another 150$ on top of the seats, and the adjustable pole. I have it written down in the book some where. Its nice if you wanna spend the money. My sorry butt has a few health issues, so wifey says me being comfy is a main concern!!!
There's a whole lotta " I'm Gonna" going around, but my F26 had Todd pedestal seats, that swiveled, mounted to the deck, that were just abpout perfect. I did cut them down about three inches as I was a bit taller than the P/O.

Jeff, which head pump do you want to mount in one of these chair boxes?
