Can you Parallel Dock?

Post by aweimer »

Now this is impressive. I can handle my 36' tri by myself but this is just amazing skill. Start at about 1:47 in on the video.

that is my question did he have thrusters, can be done without. Both single screw and twin. You need good feeling controls with definitive clicks and can be done.

He has a bow thruster, besides the wake at the bow you can hear it. I do this stuff for a living and it looks like some pretty standard stuff. Now, do the same thing with out a thruster and I would call that captain a expert

Not only could I hear the thruster, but I saw the bow move on its own.

Aaron, that most definitely incorporated a bow thruster, you can see the wash at the bow. I’m willing to bet everyone in that line up had thrusters! Now buddy in Heiner’s video was impressive

How about this one... Throttle is the ENEMY (especially when you don't know what you are doing). Control is GOOD. Learn it. Peanut Gallery - not exactly part of the solution. The kid that jumps in while the boat is backing -- S T U P I D !!!!!!!

Can't find any license numbers on anything so don't know where the video was shot. But I am still gonna keep an eye out for this guy when I am on the water!

Now that guy needs thrusters, fore and aft! Somehow, I still don't think it would help though!
