Just got back to the dock. Have the kids & grand kids aboard this weekend. Lake was pretty flat with waves less than 1ft but winds supposed to kick up this afternoon & waves building along with them.

Have a safe holiday & remember our brothers & sisters who didn't make it back.

Left the dock for the annual Whittier Boat Owners Association annual Memorial Day beach party in Surprise Cove, Prince William Sound, Alaska. I am the proud "Activities Director", meaning I get to bring the grill, chairs, chain saw, and 2 'family size' bottles of Jack Daniels. I think I got back with everything but the JD.

Cruised very early Saturday. By noon we had 20+ from the NE and 5-7' white caps on lake Erie. Sunday more of the same. This morning from the SW at 15-20, lake was OK but hell to get in and out of the slip with those winds.

Took one ride Saturday AM, then the rest of the weekend on the dingy with the kids doing boat show tours in the marina. :)
