Screen Frames on a F26 cabin

Post by carlywolf »

Hi all.. having problems getting my newly painted and rescreened frames in my window frames. I found the frames under the seat in the cabin and got them looking new. Do they go inside the cabin or outside? There was only two screw holes on the frame short side not pointy side. Im having a brain freeze with this . Thx

The screen frames are installed from the outside. First, the upper part of the frame slips in on an angle into the upper slot. Then the lower part of the frame swings in over the lower slot and down into it. Now slide the frame back into the angled groove at the back to lock it into place. To finish the job, install the retainer into the 2 screw holes that you mentioned.

Hope this helps,
Paul
