Fixer Upper ...

Post by rossjo »

The Love Boat has been spared - at least for now.

The former Pacific Princess that was made famous on the 1970s TV show “The Love Boat” was sold for scrap earlier this year, but the company that bought it has defaulted on its payment.

What's the Love Boat like today? Click here (http://mediagallery.usatoday.com/Cruise ... 773,A12714) to go to USA Today’s comprehensive photo tour of the former Princess Cruises icon by veteran cruise writer and ship photographer Peter Knego, who combines images of the ship’s mothballed exterior and interior as they are today with historical images of the vessel taken during the past four decades.

Kinda sad, it doesn't look like it's in that bad of shape. Doubt anyone will spend the money to update her though :(
