good morning guys and gals. as i watch the news this morning, i'm sad at the senseless loss of life outside denver.
i've read the thread about heath mullins, (heefus), and am nothing short of amazed at his heroism and drive to save the lives of his girls and what lies ahead for him and his family. to jefflaw, and anyone else out there facing the uncertainty of medical issues, be they personal or with a family member.
i myself have received may private messages of strength and courage for my adventure that begins on the 30th.
having said that, let us all reflect on those around us. what's important to us, and letting go of the trivial little things that tend to uncork our bottles from time to time.
so, therefor be it resolved, that i would like to say, on this day, let us all take time to celebrate life and our loved ones. heck, enjoy the early morning birds chirping in the back yard, the sun rise and the sun set. the wet nose and wiggly tail of our dogs, the squawks of our pet birds, and the purring of our cats. enjoy the smiles of our kids and the support of our significant others.
hug your kids, hug your pets, hug your best friend. look around you and just enjoy all there is to enjoy.
enjoy our trojan vessels, be they in the midst of a complete refit and renovation or completely renovated. for we, the members of trojanboats.net share a passion for our vessels the likes i've never seen !!
today, 24 july 2012, shall be a day of modest reflection, and a true celebration of life. i lift a small shot glass of pusser's rum, at this early hour, for all of us. HERE, HERE !!!!

Very true Aaron, we are all guilty of sometimes taking life for granted. Life is a gift no doubt. I too will reflect on how important our family and friends are to us today. Btw my Trojan with its new engine should be done by friday, its been two months since ive been able to enjoy a nice peaceful day on the ocean. I envy all of you who have been having great days on your Trojan vessels. Godspeed Aaron
