I have a 10.8 international and the fresh water tank gauge comes on (lights up when I turn the switch on) but the needle doesn't really move much. Do you think I have an issue with a float in the tank (sending unit)???? Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks

Don't know how similar the boats are, but my 1984 11 Meter Sedan doesn't have a float. It uses two 10 - 12 inch probes that go down into the water tank. They haven't worked for years. The needle will barely move, regardless of how full the tank is.

Take the probes out and clean them. If they are coated with crud or calcium they will stop working. We use them in cooling tower basins to keep the water level correct.

Or I have a simple solution which I do all the time - you fill the tank and when the water comes shooting out, I know its FULL!!!
