Hello all, I am going back for a second look at a nicely kept 1984 10M Express this week.
Are all 10Ms "Internationals?" I saw a newer model year with side badging saying "International" and the boat I am looking at doesn't have those side badges.
My intitial inspection went well, but I am going back to really get into the hatches and check the stringers (especially where the engine mounts are) and anything else that I can get to. Also plan to walk the bow area to see if there are any soft spots.
Are there any particular trouble spots I should focus on? I believe the thru hulls are original, so will really pay attention to them, as well as check every hose I can find.
Thanks,
Bill

Re: 1984 10M Express questions
If it's truly an Express model with the engine room/lazarette & aft vacuum liner you will find the four stringers are hollow.
The only wood is tabbed in beneath the engine mounts for the bolts to get a bite.
As far as the hull integrity is concerned, Survey says . . . . . . . GET A SURVEY !
