11 meter diesel shaft size

Post by Sea Play'n »

I am looking at repowering my 11 Meter gas (350HP) that has 1 3/4 " dia shafts. Does anyone out there have an 11 meter (either express or Sedan) with the factory 6-71s know their shaft diameter and prop size?

Has anyone done a cummins conversion to an 11 meter?

Thanks, Hugh

I would go to boatdiesel.com they have a cal. that can find the needed shaft size . or you give me your specs ( hp rated rpm and gear ) and I can do it for you , but if your going to convert to diesel you need to join

Hi Paul,
I know about this site and will join if the project gets the go ahead. What shaft diameter do you have for the Cummins? I guess they are 300 hp 5.9s.
