F32 Cabin Sliding Window Removal

Can anyone provide instructions on how to remove and replace the cabin starboard side outside tandem sliding window? unfortunately, I recently broke it and need to replace same. The window also is frozen in place. Thanks in advance for your help.

Call Beacon for detailed instructions. I recently purchased some new 'H Channel', and Bob spent 15 minutes on the phone explaining to me exactly hot how to remove the old and install the new without breaking anything, and for the best success.

Hi I replaced my Starboard sliding windows this Spring on my F32
1/ Remove all H channel from the top and bottom (slide the top and bottom pieces out, be careful not to break them.)
2/ With the top and bottom H channel removed you can then simply lift the window out.
3/ I replaced all my H channel which I purchased from Bob, it is not exactually the same but it does work.
4/ Cut and dry fit all the parts back onto your new window, and make any adjustments.
5/Insert the new window without the H channel, then once in place slide in first the bottom piece of H channel, then the top, front and ends. (Again i did this dry so to make sure all fitted well.
6/ Remove the front and rear H channel and then remove the top & bottom channel, apply a bead of silicone ( I used aquarium silicon) to the bottom piece, and then carefully slide it back under, apply silicone like wise to the top, front and end pieces and refit.
7/ Let the silicone cure and then reomove any silicone that has been pushed out.
8/ Test the window and then have a great day out on the water.

PS take the time to clean both the top and bottom guides.

one of the best ''tools'' i had when i replaced two salon windows on my f-32 was a suction cup lifter. and you can use is all over the boat too!! use it when you are in the dinghy to hold you in place while waxing/washing the hull. it's a great tool and CHEAP!! hope this helps.
