Tri Cabin aft port seals

We have a 79 Tri Cabin and Im getting tired of putting bowls under the aft cabin porthole windows because of leaking seals. The original seals are a 5/16-3/8" square cross section with a "t" shape lip on the seal surface. Attempts to replace these seals have failed. I tried foam seals from Lowes that fit great into the channels, and seal great once, but the foam then takes a set and they leak again once the window is opened. Has anyone landed on a working replacement? Thanks, Joe
