1990 ten meter trojan drain problem please help

1990 ten meter trojan drain problem please help

Hi I have a ten meter trojan 1990 I was wondering if any one knows if there is a drain hole up front in the anchor chain hold. I am having alot of accumulation of water in there and it dose not drain is there something that I am missing.

Yes Virginia, there IS a drain hole.

Sometimes these can get stopped up with the accumulated muck, silt yuck that comes up on the rode.

Remove all your rode and get the hose up there.

If it's especially filthy you might even start off with a shop vac.

The hole is below the bow pulpit centerline of the hull, probably 1/4 - 5/16 or so.

Should be easy to find and easy to clean.

Watch out with the hose at full blast as your model MAY have one of the Fwd cabin's stereo speakers up there (it's protected with a plastic baffle plate) but a direct shot of a hose at full stream might get some water back there.

While the rode is out of the anchor locker it would be a great time to wash all of it off.
