Rick,
The best way I found is to go create a free pic album account that you can upload pictures to (host your pictures). Then there is a spot in the album when you are viewing the picture as the administrator to copy the web link, then you paste this link into the forum post.

I use web shots, it is free and seems to be easy to use but there quite a few to use.

here is the link to mine.

I just listed mine with a broker for more than my boat will sell for right now. So, they keep it on Yachtworld.com as part of the list and I can just post that link to anyone I want to show a pic of my boat. Like so:

Nice Flybridge Top Arch

Post by TADTOOMUCH »

Juice,

I love your flybridge top/arch. Where did you get it? I'd love to have one like it. How heavy is it? Did you self install?

Thank you every one, it is nice to get response. I have been tied up and just got back to see if anyone responded . I am very proud of my rehab, she is an express 26ft that the teak wood was the color of cardboard when I purchased it. I have done a total rework on her, I even removed the old teak ply aft deck and replaced it with real teak boards.

finally did it

Post by JuiceClark »

Well, thanks to your encouragement I finally opened an account on PhotoBucket! So, I'm able to link a pic here and there to explain stuff.

Tom asked about my radar arch and top. I bought it on Ebay - think it was a custom job that I fixed up a bit with new powerdercoating and pads to screw it to the flybridge. It's nice to have a quality boat like a Trojan - was able to attach right to the heavy bridge without further bracing.

Juice Clark, next time you want to post a pic, just left click on the image box, it's the one to the right and bottom of your pic in Photobucket...it'll automatically copy. Then go into the body of your post here and right click and then left click on paste...it'll bring up you picture without having to click on a link. HTHs. Like this!

Thank you for putting the pic up there for me. If it wasn’t so dark you could see the teak deck i replaced. The swim platform was gray and falling apart, I removed every board , glued and re-screwed each one back in place. There is not a fraction of that boat I have not refinished or worked on. I love it, I will be looking for a twin 32ft or so in my future to restore.

Thank’s Again Rick1954

A bit off topic

Post by TADTOOMUCH »

I know this is a bit off topic but with the restorations you have done, do you know of a manufacturer or source where I can get a teak swim platform for my F-32? Mine never had one so I want to get one so the wife and kids can get in and out of the water easier and board the dinghy easier.

The only place I have seen platforms were in west marine $$$$$$$ as we all know. You can make one very easy as long as you have a good table saw. Around 30% of my platform is new teak that I cut. If the boat has a curve in the back you cut fillers to fill the space and make up the curve don’t try and bend the whole platform, although that would look good. If I were to say if I had to replace all the wood in my platform it would not have cost me $200 for the wood.
I am up here in the Albany NY area and I get my teak from Curtis Lumber, it is 5/4 teak lumber and it is cheep a 10" x 9' 5/4 is around $95, two of them would make a large platform.
