My holding tank monitor for my 1983 International doesn't seam to have 12+ power. I took out the monitor
and hooked it up at home and it works so I am wondering where it ties into for power. I don't see a breaker or find in on my schematic. Is it hooked to the head breaker? It is a Mansfield monitor with 3/4 and full LEDs .
Where does the holding tank monitor get its power?

Re: Where does the holding tank monitor get its power?
I just installed a new vacu flush in my F44 and I hooked up the holding tank monitor to the hot and ground side of one of the vacuum generators, this way it is switched on and off with the vacuum generator lead in the panel. Maybe run it to something that you use only when you are on the boat like 12v cabin lights or something. If you wire to something that is not switched, it will run all the time which may not be ideal.
