1970 CHRYSLER LM 318 - V8 Engine - Voltage Regulator

I want to change my Chrysler mechanical voltage regulator #2098300 for a Sierra electronic unit #18-5710.

1) Can I use new unit with existing Chrysler Charging Relay #2095945?

2) How are the various wires reconnected?
