Post by bssmnbll »

the 360's in my 76' F32 run fine till you get to the dock. Then, they like to die at idle. Anybody got any ideas??

There could be many reasons for this with the simple ones being too low an idle speed when in gear and engine warm--- improper idle fuel mixture---- if you have the carter afb type carbs , adjust the mixture screws counter clock wise maybe 1/4 to 3/4 turns to richen up the mixture ( maybe too lean after carb warms and choke plate full open)--- remember to turn them in lightly to the stop to get your current setting and write it down , then go from there---- try that first and see what happens , more info would be good etc--- Mike
