Trojan f26, bilge

Post by CouplesNightOut.com »

We just purchased a 1979 trojan f26. While cleaning the bilge area in the cabin, I noticed that in the middle of the bilge above the keel and below the fiberglass mat in the bottom of the bilge. there seems to be and open area that is holding water. Anyone have any info about this

Lots of discussions on the hollow keels on F32's are on the board. I am not familiar with the F26, but it probably is similar to the 32. Do a search on hollow keel and you should have lots of information to look at. It can contribute to some bad smells also.
