Boat Name Paint

Post by Rwoerner »

I'm hiring a local artist to clean up the painted (now faded) "Traveler" name on the rear of the boat. Anyone know what is the best paint to use for this?

The problem is most good marine paints come in QTs so it can get $$$ you can use Brightside Boot top & Striping Enamel comes in 1/2 pints but your limited in colors to 4 White ,Black, Fire Red ,Flag Blue . most any interlux or pettit paint would be a good choice

Most boat painted lettering guys/gals had the paint Buts very hard to find one anymore . As most have gone to Vinyl letters :(

One Shot paint is what most sign painters use and was used on my boat. Kept it waxed and it held up until I sold the boat, 10 plus years
