Single 318 approx 27 foot.

Looking for known problems worth checking out. Hull seems very nice stringers are good.

I don't even know what model this is. I will before locating serial plate tomorrow

Any advice is appreciated

Look for soft decks. The balsa coring can rot out on these. It doesn't mean I wouldn't buy the boat if the decks are soft, just make sure to adjust the price accordingly.

Trjo63-075-263 is the number on transome. I did find a part of the deck floor soft appears to be an area I could repairs with some nice hard wood
318 converted to electronic ignition.

What does the hull number say 1975 obviously but I can't find a picture like this boat online. It has a small window facing forward not to large ones.

Anyone

261 and 262 are F26 . I assume the 263 is also a F26 Maybe with a flybrige or other difference .I found 1 post referring a 263 as a F26 Are you still having Issues with a photo ? I normaly add it as a attachment ( has to be small )

It says the files too big then when I make it smaller my photo says something about PNP in at one except the picture. Needless to say this boat has a small front window on the bow not to windows side-by-side in this window opens outward sorry inward with a screen on it it also appears to have a bench on the bow I believe this may be an F 25 does that sound right the gunall down the side of the boat does not swoop up or down it's completely level or parallel to the water

If you want Email me some pics at prowlersfish@yahoo.com and I will try and post them

The single windows bug me . If it was a F25 it would have 251 or 252 or maybe 253 in the ID #

It's a 253 express. Deck need works. Hull transom stingers solid solid. Electronic ignition. 318. Bulk head behind steering needs work

Any opinions guys ?

I ended up finding the zero number and one of the cupboards I guess I did fallen off the helm

So its a F25 , hard to give a opinion with out much info , they can be nice boats a lot of room for 25 feet . The 318 is a good engine they started putting electronic ignition on the around 73 ( Chrysler was first ) . As Far as needing bulk head repair it is doable and not surprising being hare e folks go for years with soft decks . I guess it depends on how bad it is . There are several threads here on repairing them if you look .
