Not sure if that's a cored hull or not . Its a carver built boat being a 97 (92 was the last Trojan built) so I don't have any info but there is a few 390 owners here maybe they will see the post . F36 turned to mush ?? I assume your talking about the decks as the hull was not cored . All boats (99%) have cored decks FWIW .So your Carver would have cored decks .
Not sure on the shower but its a real plus . The early F36 did not have a separate shower late 77/78 they started putting in a separate shower . I got lucky

Life is to short for a ugly boat
Darryn - Hi. I have essentially the same boat ('94 370). They just kept changing the name similar to Pinocchio's growing nose.
Hull is not cored below rub rail. Above rub rail it is cored. I was looking for a non-cored hull and it was one of the reasons for my purchase. I actually had the surveyor drill test holes to double check and then fill them, using the West System before I purchased.
The shower is not separate unit. It is built around the vacuflush with the usual drop down shelf to sit on plus there is room to remain standing. All moulded and well done imo. It has the usual round, transparent plexiglass, rotating enclosure and it works well. I wouldn't worry about it being an inferior experience.
