fridge interior door panels
Awsome job Gumper. I'm curious to know where you found the replacement fridge interior door pannels. PO cut them out of ours so I have no shelves to put stuff on and the bear foam without the skin doesn't look good no matter how you look at it when you open the fridge.

Hey, It's me, Jimmy B.. Only been a lurker for a short time but have offered up a couple of posts and pics. Great forum and a great bunch of guys and girls. I just wish there were more info on here about our classic woodies. I plan to become a supporter/contributer at some point. As for me right now...

Survey for "INSURANCE"...
I was finally able to get insurance for the boat. I had to have a surveyor come out and do an inspection of the boat before the insurance company would pick it up. That went okay but identified a bunch of stuff that needs to be updated or repaired before I float her again. The biggest thing was the ...

@ prowlerfish, the boat haulers explained to me that it's good to go. Who am I to argue with a team who has been doing this for years. But I'll probably end up going out and putting someadditional support under her. One other poster recommended that I add additional support as well. My Grandfather, ...

@ captainmaniac, Yes, I agree. But who am I to argue with the boat haulers who have been doing this for my Grandfather for many many years. I don't plan to have it on the block/barrels for too long. I have a trailer I'm working on now that will accomdate it. Just trying to design the the best way of...

Here she is.....65 Trojan
Well, we finally got her to her new home. Enjoy the pics. She's a little weathered looking but she is in really good shape. Nothing that a little bit of elbow greese can't fix. http://i1222.photobucket.com/albums/dd488/jblack1036/DSCN0871.jpg http://i1222.photobucket.com/albums/dd488/jblack1036/DSCN...

@ Jimbo36, thanks for the response. I don't mind the raised lines on the teak. However, I feel they are a little too raised for my liking and would like to bring them down a little closer to the deck. Looks like I'm gonna have some work ahead of me then. @jddens, I love the picture you posted. looki...

Teak Decks???
All, I'm looking for some guidance on getting ready to refinish my teak deck on my 65 Trojan. I've noticed that the black lines in between the teak slats are raised up considerably. Should I scrape them down to the level of the teak and sand or rejuvinate the teak to see if it will expand upward. Th...

Big D, ya, I kinda figured the fridge was AC only. When and if I replace it, I'll need to figure out a way to get one in there not to mention get that one out. As for the pooper, I'm planning to rip it apart and replace seal if they are still available and re-plum it with a holding tank. Good point ...

I'm located on Rough River Lake in Kentucky. As for the condition of the gas tank.....Not sure but it was emptied and he did have it replaced with a bigger tank many years back. As for the water tank, I had planned to replace the current with a plastic one but it does hold water. Just not really sur...

Thanks Big D.... Ya, it might not be a good idea to slap some paint on her right away. Sure would hate to see all that work ruined after one season afloat. She is pretty sound and the cabin is in magnificent shape along with the top deck. Gramps said that the only place she leaked when putting her i...

Well, I made the trip up to visit the with my Grandfather and give the boat a once over. It's definently going to need some paint and the wood work freshend up. Everything seems to be in pretty good shape for it's age. I didn't feel or find any noticable rot anywhere and the bilge is pretty clean. I...

New owner, 65 Trojan Sea Breeze
Hello all, Just wanted to pop on here and introduce myself. I've been an avid boater for the last few years and have always wanted to own a boat that would turn heads when cruising down on the water. Well, my wants have finally come true. My Grandfather handed me an offer on his 1965 33' or 31' Troj...
