It does look like your prop is pretty close to the hull. The other thing I noticed is that you only have one nut holding the prop onto the shaft, there should be two. Too bad its a LH prop, I have my old RH 14x10 cupped nibral I could have sent you. Here's a pic of my setup with 14x10 definitely more clearance

When I first got my F-32 The bottom looked just like that and I couldn't get up on a plane. the bottom got ground and sanded with 60 grit and then 220 grit paper, four coats of ablative (sluffing) bottom paint and then the boat got a complete tune-up and the result was plane at 3000rpm 15knots, cruise at 17knots 3200 rpm (15 gph), wide open throttle(WOT) completely loaded cabin and tanks total weight 16000 lbs, 29knots at 4000rpm. However I do not run my boat any higher than 3200 rpm. I only ran the boat twice at WOT to check the props after having prop work done.

Wouldn't it be a hoot if someone put that big LH prop on a RH rotation.

Also Rodman, just for giggles you might check the rotation and get rid of that lockwasher and double nut the new prop.

Rodman is that a stainless rudder? You can borrow my 14x12x1 lh prop to see how she does.
