I have heard of and myself am running heavy gauge cable up an putting them in the galley cupboards, thus they are dry from bilge water and easy access.

hi all I am replacing the rotten decks of my boat with marine grade plywood (5/ that i am coating with waterproofer, for that little bit of extra protection. then I am going to screw it down with stainless screws and then epoxy over the screws.(to fill in the holes) and put that 3M 4200 sealant arou...

I have to replace the pans because thisboat was abandoned by its previous owner and water got in the oilpans and they cracked in the winter. a shame as she is a goregous boatbut now they areboth getting rebuilt, this shouldn`t be a problem for most owners

I am located in Courtice Ontario, its an hour east of Toronto on lake Ontario but when the boat is in the water it`s in Newcastle, If there is a waterway up to georgian bay i`ll cruise up there next summer.

marine wiring
does anyone know the standard of marine wiring and what gauge is required where on a boat.as well i have a small breaker panel on the exterior of my sea raider(i`m assuming for the shore power (ac/dc) conversion). is this common? as well as a good place to buy marine wiring as i`m having a hard time...

Hello Jerry THank you for the prompt response, I will take measurements and pass them on to you to see if they willl fit and as for the gauges, i do have twin engines yes but each engine has its own complete set so i believe they will work. Aswell is there a drinking water tank and pump on your part...
