Re: pluged shore power in with panel on generator

That would do it but I'm wondering how you managed to put your 120V plug into a 220 volt outlet...should be two different pin configurations to prevent that from happening! Yeah great question I'm heading down to the boat this morning and will ask someone at the marina how that happened, they just i...

Re: plugged shore power in with panel on generator

Perhaps we could be over analyzing this ? I have gave this some more thought . First if the panel is wired up correctly , there should be no problem with having the shore power ON when the selector switch is in the gen position . And it looks like a stock panel . Second you blew a volt meter , this...

Re: Boat Insurance

I just sold my 1987 28' Bayliner. I had it insured for $9000 plus $25K liability at a cost of $255 a year. It was insured by GEICO (Ski Safe). I sold the Bayliner to purchase the 1977 36' Tri cabin. Today, I called the same insurance company to find out the cost to insure the Tri cabin. The represe...

Re: Mid cabin limber holes

Point of information. For those not aware, International Series vessels constructed with the with the vacuum liner system have virtually zero wood in their stringer systems. These stringers are essentially "hollow" RWS I'm curious if my 1989 express is the vacuum liner system, was Trojan ...

Re: where are windshield washer pumps on international

On the mid cabin, the three nozzles are right near the horn. If you remove the plastic panel in the ceiling, you'll see the bottom of them along with horn wiring. If you have everything and they work, they'll spray water when you push the wiper switch all the way forward and hold it. Go past the no...
