Well. I'd liketo try and clear up some of the 3 engine confusion. I'm a sport fishing addict. And captain as well. U will see these trip engine configurations on some of the custom boats. Theidea is that providing a third engine I can increase pitch and increase overall speed. This is great for fish...

I'm not mad. Not sure why that comment not scared posted so much. I worked all over that plant from molds to custom glass additions to engines. I worked alot on the cockpit area. IV customized and reenginered other boats in the past. I will probably go for the classic cruiser/sportfish look of the 2...

Not scared. IV worked on boats all of.my young life from turning wrenches to running charters and private boats to building rampage sport fish boats at the kcs plant in navasa NC. Just looking for everyone's 2 cents. :-)

I'm in the process of getting ready to make some major alterations to my 72 sea raider. Some of the changes will be the addition of a Carolina flare to the bow. Possibly a little tumble in the stern. I'm also going to increase the deadrise in the boat adding a deeper draft and improving the sea keep...

I would bet that ur exhaust manifolds and risers are bad. If there new and u still having problems I would look into ur actual engine block. If the boat was used in saltwater these are real possibilities. Hope this helps

Total restoration. But I really just need the decks roof of cabin and hard top replaced/fixed. I plan on doing the rest my self. Going. To actually remove both Chrysler's.next year and convert/replace with a single 3208 cat Turbo diesel :-)

Lots. I want to do away with the wood deck and replace with glass. All.of it including cabin roof and hard top. Total restoration. Planning to cruise female Florida through bahammas and into thecarribean in a year or two. :-)

I would. Check the distributed. The old ones have system where the more the elms increase the mechanism turns and thus advances the timing. If this isn't turning as the rpm increased the timing will be thrown off thus creating a backfire situation. I'm actually a marine tech. And have come across th...

Thanks guys for all the help. I just bought the boat and its currently in VA beach and should be dry docked in August for its first restoration. If anyone CA. Help with some info on a good glass Guy in that area it would be greatly appreciated. Having trouble finding some one. Josh

looking for chrysler 318 carbs help

Trying to find 2 carbs for my recently purchased sea raider. 1972. Any help would be great
